This project was based on researching and exploring chance methodologies and applying them to a piece of design activism using research collected in locations around Detroit determined by chance.
We used the photos of our stencil and the sidewalk chalk as the basis for our final event identity. To further integrate the type we decided to spray Park on 6 on the printed pieces instead of having it printed. Our final system consisted on posters, flyers, sign-up sheets and a website. We also had posters and flyers for the day of the event to help direct people.

As the day of the event approached we deicided to embrace the chance aspect of the project and hope for the best weather. The day of, we were skeptical of sunshine, but we decided to proceed anyway. We also ran into issues several days before regarding the food. The school would not allow us to sell hot dogs, so we opted to sell only packaged foods. At the end of the day we had a fairly successful event. It started raining a couple of hours in, so we closed down early. A little more sunshine and warmer temperatures would have made for a better outcome, but everyone who came had a good time.
